"NOW WITH PICS" wots she worth?
HI GUYS IM NEW TO THIS SITE AND VW BUGGIES I AM INTERESTED IN BUYING A BAJA AND DONT KNOW TO MUCH ABOUT THEM. THIS ONE IS A 1968 1600 TWIN PORT ITS A
BIT ROUGH AND WOULDNT HAVE A CLUE WHAT THERE WORTH ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED.
1968 Volkswagon Beetle with a fiberglass Baja kit. It has a 1600 twin port motor with a brand new clutch and preasure plate, 4 speed gearbox and a
disc brake front end. It has a 12 volt electrical system, new ignition and keys, Gemini bucket seats and internal roll cage. It has an external motor
cage(bumper bar) with tow bar incorporated and front nudge bar (not shown). Coil over shock absorbers, off-road wheels and tyres, rears 265/70R15,
front 205/65R15. It has no rust in the floor pan or body. The fiberglass kit needs a couple of very minor repairs. It does however need a driver's
side window regulator and a voltage regulator. Starts and runs very well.

You need to calculate into the price Any work that needs doing
-Proper Baja exhuast
-Front barwork
-Modify the rear barwork for better departure angle once exhaust is changed
seems pretty complete otherwise

I recently bought Moose's Baja which is a '67, chop top, that is registered as a convertible and a Baja, with 6 months rego. It has a 40,000 mile
1600TP from an immaculate, serviced L Bug which was pranged in the front end. The engine is as sweet as sweet can be. It has a noisy Baja hot dog
exhaust, a rear cage, front nudge bar, Sunraysia style wheels, good rally tyres on the front and good Desert Deuellers on the rear for $1700.
