Golf Ute
Spotted Sat arvo Beams Road (north Brissy) a light blue Golf ute.
I don't know much about Golfs, but it was an early one Mk1 or there abouts.
I think they were factory made but not sold locally??
If not it was a neat job, looked good.

they were sold as "Caddy pick up" in the US. Strange when the name "Golf" wasn't used in the US.. yet Caddy... You know.. a
Golf Caddy.... 
RHD versions would be from South Africa (I presume)
in a Ute country, its a wonder they weren't sold in Oz'... another Volkswagenwerk AG blunder... along with the 411-412 ... 4 door VWs...
