Australian Hillclimb Championship Nov 4/5 bathurst

This is going to be a big event. Spewing I cant make it.

Many years ago Peter Finlay spent f'n huge amounts of money to knock off Gumleys SCV (supercharged type 4 open wheeler) and failed miserably. He brought over the megabuck british championship winning Pilbeam which turned out to be a real fizzer.

History may be about to repeat. I hear rumours that Andrew Howell from victoria has also imported a veer hicle to try and knock off the mighty vee dub. Its not an impossible task but I really cant see it happening at Bathurst. Down at Morwell maybe... but not up here.

It would be well worth the trip up to have a look and piss your pants at the lengths some people will go to come 2nd. :thumb

A few other VWs are likely to show up as well.

Gumley had problems? Would someone give a detailed report so I dont rely on gossip?
