Yeah, that was me heading home from the Flat 4 Shootout and then from Orange where I did a photoshoot and story on Fabian's Aussie Inch Pincher.
2000km round trip in four days, and the Dual Cab didn't miss a beat. Need a new windscreen now - I had a few small cracks, but now I got one big one
courtesy of never-ending roadworks on the New England. Not too bad though - this windscreen lasted me three years.
I stopped overnight just outside Tamworth, and was making tracks for Brisbane. Was that you I waved to in the Beetle at the servo at the bottom of
the range? Neat car. I also met another dubber broken down just before Tamworth. Lent him a spare coil I always carry and away he went. It's nice to
know you can always get things started with a Volkswagen and make it home somehow.
