Max tire size
Hi guys and girls just wondering what are the widest tires that can be fitted onto stock 4 stud pre 70 beetle rims? and will they fit under the guards
if the car is going to be lowered, probably only like 3 inches or so. cheers.

theres 2 width 4 stud rims 4" and 4 1/2"
i've got a few sets of 4 1/2" rims with 185/65 which hold the road really well and look shitloads better than crappy old 165/80s
i have driven a superbug that had 195/70s on standard rims and it was like driving on jelly
but i wouldnt go much wider as urs are most likely only 4" ones
