auto qu's?
Hi guys,
I am looking at doing an auto type IV conversion and would like to know if I can put a kombi bellhousing onto a type III automatic gearbox?
I would like to suspend the bellhousing from the body as in the kombis yet still retain the more sedan friendly gear ratios of the type III.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Cam

No, the bellhousing is part of the diff housing. Try using the type IV drive plate and the type III torque converter I'm pretty sure the bolt
pattern is the same. The type III bellhousing has mounting boss on the side that you should be able to adapt over.
