some measurements needed


Just wondering if anyone with an early '60s bug could measure two points for me please?

Centre of windscreen, top to bottom inside the rubber.

B pillar, from the waistline contour to the top of the rain gutter.

Ring Michael at VVDS tomorrow...

he has my windscreen plug, that i made from marine ply to fit into the windscreen hole TIGHT.
He can measure it for you... its for a 40 hp body not a Oval is this what u want ???

a 61 body is what I'm using so anything with the same appertures....

Also need the b pillar height to ensure it's the same proportion all the way along...

I have the windscreen height. Now I need the height from the waistline contour up the b-pillar (immediately behind door) to the top of the rain gutter....

Can any one help?

Do you remember Paul From Flat Four.?
got the Green Buggy, is doing up a Vert Ghia ( Mike Mart.. old one.)
Well he just got his NEW 61 Beetle Tonight.
Yes its Brand New......
Well in numerous pieces and state of repair but at least it was FREE !. Lucky Guy..!!!!!!
It was an unfinished project.
Well he Lives 2 Km east of me.
We c ould arrange a visit and you could see his Cool Ghia.:thumb
