trouble with eyelids
Hi everyone,
I'm having a lot of trouble trying to fit eyelids onto my Superbug. They fit around the chrome, but the glass lens doesn't fit on properly. Are
there different sizes for different models? Were the chrome rims shaped differently overseas? We've already broken the grey surround on one. We
don't want to break anything else!
Cheers!

They are one size fits none. You need to tweak them to fit, and then fit the surround and clips once it fits nice.
Should keep you entertained (or frustrated) for a while if its your first set!

You are not alone....
Many people have had the same problem...
I don't like them, they may void your insurance if you hit a pedestrian...
that is why, You will see eyelids on cars at funny angles...
as they haven't been able yo put them on straight..
same as many VW accessories...
and i found fitting the expensive good quality chrome door handle scratch plates are MUCH harder to fit than the cheap aluminium ones...
although i have never seen aluminium eyelids...?
Best of Luck
Lee
