New Paint - old paint
Hey all
I am about to paint a few panels on my square - the rusty ones that I have repaired. I don't want to paint the whole car and have it all shiny and
new - can anyone tell me the best to soften the new paint so it matches the old without it looking to contrived
Cheers Paul

dont know about 2K, but if you're using a 1K (acrylic) my method is;
Match your primer and top coat.
Add matting agent (Standox Matting Agent, 48/2909046 MIX 498) to your top coat, and test various amounts. Between 50-100mL per 600mL cup.
Rub your whole car back with 400 grit paper (wet).
Buff the whole thing out.
hope this helps...
