1.5 diesel headgasket question.

Anyone ever done a mk1 golf diesel headgasket?
Just bought one that has a bit of a headgasket issue (so im told) and thought id ask if they are any harder to fit than a petrol one, or if there is any little tips I would want to know about.
Thank in advance, Josh

Hi Hertz,

there are various thichkness H/gaskets to adjust the comp. ratio, identified by notches on the front edge, eg 3 or 4 notch, could just install the same as already fitted or measure deck hight to work out correct one to use.
