Diamond Green or Grey?
I am planning to paint my 69 beetle myself (taking it back to bare metal). I am looking at painting it either diamond green or diamond grey (possibly
polar silver), and was wondering if you can get any of these in acrylic lacquer. I know you can get these in 2-pack, but that is a harder paint to use
for a first-time spray-painter such as myself. Please help.

yes they can be mixed in any type of paint
you have to find a paint place that has the formular for the colour, if not i can supply the quantities

I have found a place that will provide me with Diamond Grey acrylic lacquer (S&S Industries, Perth). However, I am unsure of how to apply this
paint.
I read other threads on paint and they say that metallic paint (Diamond Grey??) should be applied with the fenders (etc) still attached to the car. I
would like to know if the inside should be taped off and then sprayed separately, or at the same time and not taped off. Also, is there any special
way I have to apply this paint.
And with acrylic lacquer, do you require an oven or a special spray booth?
Please help.

No u dont need a spray booth however it will help as it will take out any moisture in the under coat and prevent humidity blisters later
I usuall spary outsie in the open on a good sunny day let it bake up fora while before applying the paint
