Possibly stupid question
When you have a 'rat' do you leave the deep rust and or repair it and just keep the surface stuff?
Do they leak? Are they sound?
Do you replace all the rubbers? etc

I've got an early squareback. It's a shitter, unregistered, bodgy and it's gonna get on the road somehow so my notch can get some TLC.
Hope this helps:P:P:kiss
