Caption: Back in 1980 I found this 1968 Country Buggy with 2784 miles on the clock. It had some front panel damage but no rust. I later swapped it
for the type 34...... kids would laugh at me and adults asked if I built it myself! VWA denied ever making them when I wanted some history on the Type
197.

Steve,
I dont know the car and have not seen this pic before. The car has Victorian registration and I am sure someone must know the guys standing beside the
car.
Regards,
Bill.

The Samba profile of ozbugster lists his location as Melbourne, and his occupation as graphic designer.
Between the pic and this info, maybe someone will have a eureka moment about his identity.

He has posted eight photos, but no text posts.
This appears to be a nice CB with hardtop and side curtains....just maybe needs some fresh paint.
Regards,
Steve
