Hello. Just wondering if i bought a '73 model square would some parts fit my '69. Did the '69 dash plastic go right around the speedo and clock
etc? and what about the engine. Can i throw in a 1.6 non fuel injected auto into my manual or is there more to it?......Cheers

yes to all of the above you will have to fit a flywheel instead of the drive plate

agreed, Danielle (lulu94) bought a 72 and 70, and the dash pads are different.
I'm guessing you are thinking of buying the 73 to part out, if you do we will probably be interested in the dash panel as well as various other late
square parts, feel free to U2U myself or Danielle if you want to discuss anythng. |

Thank you all. In the end i thought it best to not fork out more cash for something i wouldnt really need just now... All so i dont think my dad would
want to come back from his holiday to find another car sitting in his shed. I've already forced him out and to build another shed....Cheers

dash pads can be swapped the only difference is the speaker grill, late model has a seperate grill . Did a swap into a 67 and no probs at all. Engine
yeah swap flex plate for flywheel and if your 69 has third engine mount on fan housing swap that over aswell. If you want an auto best to swap pans
but you will loose low back seat runners on the pan , but will gain extra reinforcing that runs under the pan halves , and have bigger front brakes.
