Pedal Rubber replacements

Situation is this:

Inspection station won't pass my Fasty as the brake pedal (auto) rubber is worn.

I have rung around all he VW shops and they don't manufacture new brake pedal rubbers for Auto Type 3's any more.

Question is this:

1. Does anyone have a good unworn auto brake pedal rubber lying around. Long shot I know!!!!!

2. Has anyone modified something else to serve for this purpose and how did you go about it???

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Matt

What size is the steel plate on the pedal for starters. Maybe another make is the same.

Matt, Places like Repco have that bolt-on rice racer style pedals but they are dodgy. Surely you can get some ribbed rubber mat from Clarke Rubber or Bunnings and glue it on and that should pass it?

I love 242HP sleepers.

How many sets of lights does it take a $229k Carrera S to learn? UPDATE: Cayman S, M3, B4 now added to the list.

Yeah thanks Matt called all the VW shops but they only have replacement ones for manual not auto.

Have gone the el cheapo road but they were not happy because it still slipped off. Methinks they are being a bitt fussy and it is time to bring out the sikaflex to make it stay on.

Cheers

Sorted

Sourced a pedal rubber from Repco - meant to be for a Toyota 4Runner - fits like a glove.

Woo Hoo all clear for Rego.

Another Fasty joins the road!
