How come the change in wheels guys?

I would say its a change for the better. they suit the pale blue of your car better then the bling chromies.

While the chrome wheels were very "eye catching", they never fit quite right. As they were a multifit wheel the tyre people could never quite balance them which meant that it had a shocking vibration. So much so that our oval was a smoother ride!!!!! Also I could never drive the car as the vibration used to make me feel sick (especially when I was pregnant!!!), so she sat in the gargage. Also the chrome was starting to flake off so up close they were starting to loose their appeal ......

Am happy with the new wheels ...... Do wish they were 19 inch thou .......

as mscabrio said... ^^^^

we liked them initially coz they were different to what others had... but found them to be a real pain in the ass to keep clean all the time as the brake dust really chews into chrome.. so after a while the chrome started to not look as good as it should... rechroming not an option all the time so decided on a change.

Sweet if only they came in 17x7.
These are the ultimate for kombi's especially my T3.
Nice look well worth the transition.

think they did come in 17x7 or 7.5 but these are no longer available through where we got them.
try tempetyres.com.au in nsw as they have a8 replicas in 17x7.
i found the offsets to be a prob though.. think they were either 35 or 45mm. the ones we got were 38mm.
