Autocraft sump pump installation
Hi guys,wondering if anyone could email or post
a diagram of correct dual stage pump installation
with line sizes,i had problems with motor filling
up with oil .

Good day Dutchy-what are you building now?I am using an Autocraft motor in my Drag Car and have worked out where everything goes-in fact it was on
here that I was given the correct layout.I will be away for a couple of days from tomorrow-so if you haven't got it worked out when I get home-I will

The lay-out is straight forward,
but the oil filling up the engine is most likely the tank is too high.
How many stages do you have?
Provided the oil level does not get to the barrels and cause hydraulic-ing,
the fact that the scavvenge stage/s are larger will correct the problem on start up.
If the oil level in the engine does settle above the barrels,
then the tank needs tbe lowered.

got diagram from autocraft.

hi nb its the same old car,fixing the problems from
when i took it out last time,we will have to catch
up sometime when your in town,is your oval finished

Good day Dutchy-I didn't know your were running your car yet.You are obviously running at Mallala-yes.You will have to let me know when there is a
meet on and I will come over.Oval is done at last-took it down to the show in November-may take it down again in April.Will catch up with then if you
like.Is your clock still going?
