Production automotive put it back together after mick sold it.

Engine set up is a lot different to the way Mick had it set up. looks a bit easier to get it out. I just don't have the tools or room to do the work myself.

So what did you end up doing with the gearbox? This was the only thing really left to do on it - gearbox.

Still running well? Been up to Sydney much? Would love to see it.

Hey Mick.
Na i don't get to sydney much.
I was going to bring it to the nationals, but destroyed the gearbox. Have had a lot of issues with it, but getting there now.

Hey Mc, glad you enjoyed the build thread.

Which steel box? The one off the guard? (couldn't quite see your photo). If that silver box, its for the water to air intercooler.

Mick.
what was the gearbox out of and did you have anything done to it?
Clutch has gone in it and the box is screaming at me. so time for a rebuild.
And what clutch did you use in it?

Hey VDUBXTC, with the clutch it was a heavier clutch. Bought it from Wayne down in Wollongong. Can't remember exact details though!

With the gearbox, pretty sure it was a superbug gearbox - it was the stronger one from memory (so out of it now to remember it all!). Internally though, it was always a mystery! It had had some kind of work, but if it was just a standard rebuild or something more, we never knew. I was the third owner of the chassis, and the gearbox was done late 90's or early 2000s i think. Sorry that that isn't heaps of help! Before i decided to sell it i was getting Dave Butler to build me a box
