Hey has anybody any experience or opinion of these things for getting out of a sticky situation?

I wouldn't be using a light weight winch like that on my Kombi thanks.
If you go it alone which you do quite often by the sound of it i would be looking for a genuine Turfa hand winch

yeah i got a bad habit of running away from home :crazy: and i've dug myself out of places before but sometimes a metre or two of ground might be all you need...so i'll go with Brad on this one:tu:

ahah! yeah that's how you could get caught on ebay...or one of the ways...that is the advantage of a tirfor type winch...the cable can be as long as you like:tu:
