I'll teach you if you want to do it in the Noosa area. You'll need a full day but.

Where abouts north side are you?
Is your kombi stock, modified, EFI, carb, manual, auto??
And how much tuning do you mean? Normal service type stuff?

Hey, your only down the road! I'm in Banyo!!

I might see at the next BLB meeting if a few members are keen on a few training sessions, enough to keep Fergus running at least. Probably a few other AVD members are interested in the same thing!
I'm no mechanic, but can usually keep my bus on the road (well for the simple stuff anyway)

yeah i am cool with the really simple stuff, have always been changing the oil and filters etc myself (even rebuild my front calipers myself) and had just got a mechanic to handle the tuning. i serviced it on the weekend before it went to custom vw yesterday to get an elec fuel pump in and thought id have them tune it while they were at it and the guy said it didn't need much and it was already running pretty good before they touched it, the whole bus is which is good to know :)

Purring like a kitten atm.

I think I've seen you around andy, fergus has only just started to become a daily driver again after a bit of a rest.

i had better sign up at blb :)

Yep, Andy's easy to pick out. Sounds like your well up on doing work if you've rebuilt callipers!
I think the next meeting is in a couple of weeks (29th). Your welcome to tag along, it's been a while since I went along myself!
Books are always hte best start, the more the better. I have found if I can;t understand one book, it may be better explained in the next one.

Might be fun to organise a group "training session", always a good chance to meet fellow dubbers also!
