does on a super cause it lays flat
The rim is 5.5" wide - wont fit a standard
The tyre goes down in radius when its flat - only an 1" or 2" bigger than the rim.
It doesnt need to go "under" the petrol tank lip of the super
need to carry a pump though
$150 for the wheel and i paid $50 for the pump
You can buy pumps for $20 but i reckon i could blow the tyre up better myself
It is near as damit the same size as my normal wheels when pumped up

Hi
I had one in my old 1300 and it fitted ok in the spare wheel hole OK. I read in Porsche owners manual that you need to adjust the pressure to level
the car.

yes it is pumped up fine!!!..........well it looks the same as mine when it's up.
how many psi you have in it?
crazy the way they inflate hey............they are actuallty quite good to drive on and offer mnore grip than you would expect, even in the wet

Looks OK to me, Ive never had to use mine, touch wood, but when Ive pumped it up the tread gets rounded like yours, as they say they are very
temporary.

What is the smallest 5 x 112mm spare wheel you can get?
Obviously the main source would be Mercedes, Porsche, Audi
I have only had one flat in our bus in 15 years, and so a 'permanent' spare is not required. In fact when I last got a flat, I just rang RACV and
because we have top cover, they towed it home because we had no spare. Even sent a Taxi for us to go home in.

Looks fine to me. I have the same thing in my Karmann. Be carefull putting it on the rear wheels if you still have the standard VW drums (redrilled)
The drum retaining screw will get in the way of it seating on the drum properly. Easy fix it just remove the retaining screw. If you have discs then
no probs!
The proper Porsche pumps are nice but really exy!!

I think the retaining screw you are talking about is a Type 3 thing??
