Parts manual photo ?

I was sorting out some papers I had a while ago and this picture fell out of an old book that I got many years ago.
If you look at the picture you will see its a copy of a photo.

Now the parts list book that I have is a copy of the original so the front cover pictue is not that good, but have a close look.

I believe this picture to be the very same photo to have been used to produce the front cover of the CB parts list.

What do you think?

Nathan,
Its good to see you are back with us here at the Forum and hangin' out, as well as bringing new info to light.
It would appear to me your supposition is spot on! ;)
If that's not the same photo image......you'll never find a closer match.
All the angles of the photo and the printed image appear to be the same to me.
The photo lacks the detail of the printed image, but photos can degrade significantly over time.
I imagine the original photo had most of the details we see revealed in the printed image.
Looks like you have made a nice discovery.
Congratulations!!!

*** btw, I would be interested in purchasing CB literature such as the parts list and owner's manual .......not necessarily originals, but reproductions would be sufficient for my needs at the moment.
Anyone out there offering such reproductions.....or leads to such reproductions?
Please email me at sbk@indy.rr.com with details.

Regards,
Steve
