Yup mine has been lowered since 1994. Long before the days of Buying bits and pieces to lower kombis even existed!! Been that long I cannot even remember how many splines I went on te rear lol

New engine for the bus has finally arrived from the USA.

Fat Performance 2961cc

Scat 86mm stroker
JE 104.7mm pistons with spiral locks
Cast barrels
Cunningham 5.5' rods chev journals
Webcam 86c
1700 kombi rockers with 911 elephant foot adjusters
Manton chrome moly pushrods
Alloy pushrods tubes for stroker.
914 Porsche heads
48mm inlet
38mm exhaust
Case is clearanced for stroker and rods. 5th head stud mod and gusseted and braced on top of case at bell housing.
Larger main case bolts
Chrome moly head studs
Kennedy stage 2 clutch and pressure plate
Kennedy stage 2 flywheel lightened.
Flywheel runs aftermarket bolts and dowelled
CB manifolds for webers
48IDF webers
Custom made air cleaner boxes.
K & N tall air cleaners
Fat Performance throttle linkage
Fat Performance fan shroud with Porsche fan
80amp alternator
Autocraft dry sump pump
Petersen dry sump tank
Allydyne remote oil cooler with thermo fan
Buggy style exhaust with super trapp
Compufire CDI ignition

Picked up change over tinware at goldy show today. From early bays with type 1's but have the type 4 cooling seal in the engine bay. Got all the tinware I needed for $40 and picked up a late kombi steering wheel for a real good price as well!! First time I've had a Horn that works for nearly 15 years!! Just have to keep reminding myself not to tap on it to the music!! Lol

Was for sale on Samba Reuben. 3 odd months of negotiating before it wash finally a done deal.

Graham Warwick may be a possibility but between now and then I have to finish some minor renos to sell my house and find somewhere else to live then obviously move. Troys car would be closer to being at Warwick than mine and that will keep me busy at the track!!.

On a side note tracked down a vac advance type 4 dizzy this arvo in good condition!! Thanks tar!!
