need some ideas,but i think it would look good 2 colours,in a race car look,maybe blue with bright green bars,centre of the bonnet,top of the wing,
like the race porsche cars..

what about the Porsche 935 Martini colors - white with black, red and blue striping?
'cause that's what those kits were suppose to mimmick.

i think its 80s
gs motor bodies at calton sydney made it
it was $4,950 for the kit......
cheers,i got it at a swap meet about 6 years ago..the kit sat there until i got a beetle that i was not to sure what to do with it....

cheers,found heaps of pics,this maybe the way i might go,give it a old racer look.somthing you dont see every day.
just need to have some stickers copyed,
i can put the black down under the strips.
should not be to hard to have them made.
do you think i could use the mantini,with out copy right problems........

I think it would be great if you were to go with this scheme!
You wouldn't really need to get the stickers made up either, just use the same font in pre fabbed lettering sticker set. And the Martini logo is just a red circle with a black rectangle and letterinig.
About copyright laws I wouldn't know for certain, but they are usually lifted after 30years.

I would be very excited to see the final result - promise me you will post pictures.

name change you think,i have to finish my 62 betsie first,and at the moment im painting my nissan ute,
so the martini should make a showing at the next nats....maybe darling harbour,wow would have to pull my finger out for that,and make some more money for the sticker man..
its good to see a couple of you guys that think this bug will look good..maybe the only one around in sydney.......
