Howdy

I just put a EA81 in to my Caravelle Auto, Now marlin is no racer but the EA 81 is doing the job nicely,on the HWY sitting on 100ks he will pull up most hills with no trouble if not picking up speed.

In town he is very good.

In saying that a EJ20/22 would be better but for the dollars I had to do the swap the EA81 was the way to go.

Now money I had a rebuilt Ea81 sitting in the garage and with me and my mate Micheal doing the work all up it cost me $2000.00, which was the Sherman Adapter Kit $550. then all the bits and bobs like power steering hoses, radiator hoses ,heater hoses plus a heap off other stuff took up the cost to the $2000

Hope this helps.

Marc
