[FS - NSW] 63 Beetle more pics
1963 Beetle - registered until Feb 2009 - AV51FB
A very tidy 1963 beetle with original tan interior, white exterior, some minor imperfections as you would expect for a 45 yo car.
Purchased from Western NSW late 2007 where it had lived most of its life.
1300 motor runs well; starts and runs first time no problem.
I have an extra engine which goes with the sale, it is a 1200 40hp, complete, runs well doesn't leak oil - very good motor. Gearbox good.
The following items on the car are new:
* running boards (still have old 40hp trim)
* German door rubbers
* Front Windscreen rubber
* german made chrome grill at rear vent
* chrome cheese grater on exhaust
* interior carpet (black)
* front and rear seatbelts
* 009 distributor with Pertronix electronic ignition
* german heater boxes and ernst german exhaust (heaters work very well)
* new leads, beru platinum spark plugs
* new Bosch battery
* hinge pins on drivers door and rear view mirror
Has original rear venetian and a period VW original push button radio that works fine.
Bumpers are excellent, chrome is in very good condition (comes with a spare rear bumper). New federal tyres (~1,000 km old). Interior headlining is
excellent, though around seat belts there is some fraying.
There is no rust on this vehicle, floorpan painted with POR15 and cavities rustproofed inside and out/underneath
Car is currently located in grafton, nsw can deliver to Newcastle, registered until Feb 2009.
