Hi and some questions
Hi all,
I've just joined here and have found heaps of useful info, but I am still a little unsure of a few things.
I have found a beetle 71 its running has had a bit of engine work done according to the owner,mostly the carby being overhauled and also looks like
the generator and belts have been replaced.
The motor is realy of little concern there is a lot of rust cancer showing in the A pillar and down near the rear fender, the running board is very
loose and the passenger on is gone, it also has a few holes in the floor pan.
Having said all that interior is in pretty good shape and it seems to be running ok. I can see this needing new floor pan and probabbly the heater
channels and some patch work on the body, but he is only asking a $1000 and that seems to be rather cheap compared to what else i can find in wa.
Any advice on this would be appreciated, especially the body work i cant seem to find any one in perth that sells parts or many beetles for that
matter.
