WTB - Early Notch

Folks,

I am chasing an early notch - pre 69 ( definitely not a Square or a Fasty ) and am having no luck at all. There are certainly some more finished ones that are around but the numbers are really beyond my budget at the moment.

So it's back to chasing the under 5k runner with limited rust issues - sure that's what everyone wants right !!

Maybe I'm just unlucky but I seem to be just missing out ( second caller twice to people so far ) on these as they come up because someone nabs them first.

So if you are thinking about selling one..... PM me pls.

gday,

i had the same problem, took me about 9 months to find one and then i got one from the local paper. I think once you have one you dont want to sell it. Hard to justify getting 4-5k back on something you generally love and dont want to part with anyway.

If you are intrested in one from SA, i looked at one a bloke has for sale, im not in the market for one myself, but this was a bloddy good car, 100% complete, very little rust, and running, really honest car, that dove blue sort of color with salt & pepper trim .... if i was into notches myself , i would have brought this one home in a flash.
he is asking 4K for it, i know he still has it and its still for sale.
i could sort out some photos as he is not very computer minded, but it might take a few days.
But if you wanna give him a call and have a chat to him i can give you his number, just PM as i wont list it for all to see and hassel him.

JB,

Sound advise..... it's more the just missing out that is killing me than the waiting.

I actually picked up a 62 bug to play with a month ago and am slowly sorting out the rust and basic issues on it. More using it to get my hand back into things and build up a toolbox than as a keeper. If ( no when ! ) I find a type 3 I will slowly get it up to a solid runner and then move the Bug on.

If your out for a drive down towards the Shire let me know.... would love to see your Notch.

cheers

Troy
