HOW TO SEATBELTS IN SPLITTY
Anyone installed lap belts to the rear splitty seat? If I can then I will be able to use the 5 point style kiddy harness you get with a booster seat
by creating mounting points for the harnes on the rear shelf. So I was wondering if there were any tricks in the lap belt install?

If you can hide the seat belt plates, it looks heaps better.
Takes a bit aof nuckingaround but you need plates with a nut welded onto them to use as the anchor point

"Seat belts" "kids"
Unless you really know what your doing to be legal and safe...
What state are you in?
Please let me know.
I am an authorised modifications officer here in Qld and you would be suprised and appauld at what some people fit to vehicles in the interest of
trying to make it safe for the child to ride in their rides.
Rule number 1... your mate might be a mechanic or whatever but your most precious items are going to be in this MODIFICATION. Do it right the first
time
Rule number 2.... Refer rule number 1
Whether you like it or not , about the only thing that is tested and authorised design is called a CRAB Bar.. CHILD ANCHOR RESTRAINT BAR.
Reason, is the standard seats will not withstand the required loads for over the seat stresses applied by the restaint belts.
The ADR's have specific plate sizes and bolt grades for seat belt restraints
please if in doubt contact your state transport office for a list of authorised businesses or engineers who can do this for you.
