Steve,
I dont know the owner of this CB but see it was on display at the recent Volksfest event in South Australia. I will do some more homework and see if
it is another that can be added to the Register.
Maybe it is already there but no pictures exist.
It looks like a good restored vehicle but I see the front bonnet is not original.

Bill,
eraser posted the pic of that CB here: http://forums.aussieveedubbers.com/viewtopic.php?tid=73213
and here: http://www.vwgeek.com/?attachment_id=379
I inquired of him, but so far no reply.

Maybe if some of you Aussies of note (Bill, Nathan, Graham?) inquire via email or PM, you can come up with something.
Maybe the owner hasn't seen or doesn't have knowledge of cb john's skills.
He could whip up a bonnet reproduction part that would do it proud.
Regards,
Steve

Guys,
I think the vehicle is KO 0166. I have the location at Roxby Downs, South Australia on the Register. My contact tells me the car may have been sold
but he was pretty sure it is the same vehicle.
Used to be owned by a Policeman in Roxby Downs.
This might tie up with the country SA location from bajabug69

I've got this one down as KO 166, and the pic is dated 2007, so I dont think it could be the one Bajabug has posted, and unless the top pic has had a
recent resto I dont think it will be KO 166 either.

i was talking to my uncle yesteday who also lives in sterling north where those pics were taken
he said the railways had 8 country buggies back in the day and they used to sell them when they hit 30k miles
most ended up as local shooting buggies
they also used lots of industrial engines too and my other uncle who also worked in the railways still had boxes full of bits for them
i grabbed a few bits when he got rid of it all but singleport, govners magnetos etc were no use me at the time and didnt seem of any value.......sill
kicking myself now
