Beetle & Fuchs CAD Files


Read the other post about 5sp gearbox and topic of CAD came up. Thought that some of you might be interested in the files below. Done in MicroStation (I work for Bentley Systems so wouldn't touch AutoCrap :D). I drew the fuchs one myself but can't claim the beetle. Its a bit faceted but, gee, a lot of work

are the bugs dimensions correct or a best guess? are you willing to share the file...looks like fun :) now I will know if i can stuff a Maybach v12 twin turbo in the ass of my bug LOL

:thumb very nice. as for autocad it's not so bad if you know how to use it. I admit it's not flash for 3D but I get by. Ive got most of a vw motor drawing in 3D with it.

hey how big is the dgn file? id be interested.

Hey Autocad isnt that bad, I find that I work faster with it than microstation (but thats probably cos we use autocad at work :))

theres a really good drawing of a wheel on the cover of multi cad, may2003 issue. looks pretty swish.
