I need to get my doors off, but the screws dont want to budge. Been suggested that I use an oxy to heat them up somehow, but I dont have one of those.. im happy to drill em out(had to do that to that to take the shell off), an impact screwdriver didnt budge em eather, any suggestions? :thumb

WOW an impact didnt budge them?

Are you SURE the impact was set to loosen and not tighten?

Been done before (wonder how i know that)

IF you drill the heads off you have bigger problems then getting the studs out.
I would get some WD or penetrating oil in there somehow and try the impact again

Or if that dont work..and your going to shag the screws anyway you could do the 'welding a bolt on' job thats always a goodie

Okay this is weird but has always worked for me and I was surprised cause my ideas usually end up hurting me. So be warned. I get my phillips head screw driver. The correct sized one. Then I jam a plumbers tool thing over the end. Those huge bar like sockets that you can put over a tap or something then they have two holes at the other end for a screw driver. I then get my biggest screw driver and put it through and the amount of leverage you have normally moves anything. Brains not braun solve this problem. If that makes no sense I apologize.

lol type_one, have tried that already, my philips head's handle is now a splinter!

just got back from supercheap with some penetrating oil (the sales guy gave me a weard look) so im ganna give it a good soak and check the impact driver setting(my finger is still hurting from my last attempt!)
