Drag Bug in Indonesia
I'm currently living in Indonesia and the VW scene is pretty big here - mainly circuit racing and club events. I was invited to a warehouse, to look
at couples cars. I didn't like the cars they showed me, but away in the far corner, covered in dust and rubbish - there was it - a 1961 being
purposely built for drag racing. This beetle has been sitting there for the last 6 years. No rust.
Chopped top, laid back front windscreen, rear split window, full fibre glass front and rear, full roll cage - with a wild paint job. No engine, which
is cool with me. Coz I plan to put a 13.BT in it when I get it home.
Cost of vehicle was $550.00

Sitting in the back off a shop for 6 years in jakarta,a drag bug ,choptop,laidback front windscreen,rear split window,full fibreglass front and
rear,full cage,cnc vented disc brakes not on car in a box, No motor it,s cool going to put 13bt and auto in it....clean it up looks good ,the bug will
be in oz soon.

Hey Layback.
Where are you based in indo? I am coming over work in June/July for a 4 weeks with the aim of moving over to Jakarta for a few years if I like it. I
would have thought the VW scene would have been pretty small? whats the who motorsport (track or rally) scene like over there?

Pink, purple, and yellow are my daughter's fave colours. Magenta looks like a great pink or light cranberry, my favourite colour is the
turquoise/aqua blue however I do like the graphics - I definitely like the late 90s American style drag racing colour scheme. I come from Canberra.
