Whats your business called Cole? Ive had bearings, and pistons done by two diferent companies down south. Would be good if you could post up some
pictures of your work too.
I must say I wasnt too impressed with the last lot of conrod bearings I had teflon coated. The coating was nice and even on the bearings, but the
coating contained dust particles and were rough as hell. Lucky me I found out months after I had them done and cant remember who did the work for
me.
I'll be after having a header and turbo exhaust housing ceramic coated soon. Do you do the extreme temp rated ceramics that survive turbo exhaust
temperatures?

no business name i do subcontract work for a shop here in bris and its a bit slow so i'm chassing some work for my self.I'm a bit surprised at
teflon coating on bearings never heard of that before the only coatings i see on bearings is the wettable coating the same as you see on piston
skirts. With your turbo exhaust housing and header have you dynoed it yet i would recomend doing all your tuning first then coating it later the
ceramachrome(chrome finish)is good for up to 1350degrees before discolouration of the chrome finish due to the high allimunium content in the coating
it will go a slight yellowy/brown colour it still performs the same just not as pretty. There is also a 2000 degree black coating.for a while now i've
been coating a lot of exhaust housings and the dump pipes for the turbo rotory guys in the chrome and it seems to stand up pretty well to racing
conditions but dynos, breaking in cams on new motors and very lean conditions on start up will kill the shine in minutes. The exhaust on dak attack is
some of my work i'll see if i can get some fotos up soon of pistons and other bits.

Col has done these for me and were perfect
The barrels have a heat dispersant on the outside that looks great, the pistons have been ceramic'd on the top and teflon'd on the skirts.
They also torque honed the cylinders to a beautiful 500g finish and they would be right up there for the best you can get.
