Aussie Container Van Killed in Arizona
Check this out I found these photo's on samba they show a Container van after it met up with a Semi.....thats all I know...I do however know by
way of internet the owner Richard Kimbrough a crazy bus guy in Arizona.
(check out rustybus.com)
I do so hope he is alright I sent him an email and I got a computer reply saying he is out till 28th or something like that...
He was going to Bad camberg (when is that?) so I hope that explains his absence....
The photo's show a trailer hitch or something in the mess Maybe it got wiped of the trailer ...
anyhow it's dead and cremated...........

You go to vintage bus website ( http://www.vintagebus.com/ ) and to the link on
the left which says "gallery index" then to "all images" there are more photos and info, i believe that Richard Kimbrough is ok

he was towing that container bus, with another split bus, up an interstate at night. Wonders why he got hit with a semitrailer travelling a whooooole
lot faster, 'Parrently it caught fire and all. Very lucky no-one got killed.
No judgement from me, I wouldnt have done it though but thats real easy to say from my seat here in oz..... |

Spoke to Rick in Bad Camberg last week, it was not the Laundry bus, it was the other one that had been there for a couple of years. He was driving it
& got swiped by a Semi Trailer. He contacted me because he needs an insurance value.....

I got an email from Richard the other day and he is shaken, but want's to get back into another Container Van the crashed van was the one he got
from Vic of Vicsbahn it was an ex RAAF van he had only had it for about 10 months and he was restoring it, but as they are weird in the states he was
able to drive it around with the sheetmetal missing the side and rear doors off and some glass out
Anyone Know of a Container Van for sale??
