Hi Adam, On the oil thermostatand and cooler topic, The series 4 or 5 rx7s and cosmo mazdas have very good coolers with an 80' thermostat built
in.
These are about $80 second hand.
2 sizes are rx7 600mm x 120mm x 50mm
and a cosmo 350mm x 250mm x 50mm
I've tryed taking out the thermostat years a go just to see the difference. It took about 1/4 hr of driving to reach 80'. So it went back in!
Adding a cooler means more oil to bring to temp, especially when the cooler is up the front. Now i will allways try and use one these mazda ones for a
streeter if needed.

lol lets not talk about the compression.... its a pissy 8.1:1.... bit of a sore point yet to be rectified
|
8.1:1? i had 14psi pumping in when i had 8.1:1!! left behind WRX's!!
I like to see people trying different things,
We are working on some different combos to see what happens.....But thats for later, i wont hijack your thread!!
Cheers, Brendon

Like the look of those hubs, Adam, and that cordless hammer looks the goods too.

hey, mine is 4 inch narrow, not sure how much they are these days, last time i checked they were between 700-900.....bought mine from someone here who
no longer needed it, u know the story, project that never got started.... i know rod penrose has one for sale... stock width, but they are pretty easy
to narrow.... they have pressed on ends, not welded...
