Kombiputer

Dubbers alike, i am looking at installing a PC into my car and wndering if any of you have done this ... Tha main problem being converting the 12v into 240v and then back to 12v (Computers only need 12v)

has anyone done this? ... Yet :)

Cheers Isaak

PS Getting fitted into a 1975 Kombi ... means i can have a sweet 17" LCD, to view from the back seats/bed
:D

dude do a search for in car computers..plenty of people doing this kind of thing...including me :) As you probably know pc's have a 12v and 5v line, there is no need for a 240v transformer :) Save up for a cool 15'' touch screen...I've attached a pic of the latest car I've installed.

Yeah, i've done it with a '95 toyota camry, but not a kombi - thought there may be some hints, tips with the setup and the electronics (if you can call them that ;))

Touch screens are still too much :(
