Lowering Bay Window

Can anyone help ME!

I want to lower my 79 Kombi,
but dont no what is the best way to go about it, as I dont want to lose the smooth ride that I have now!!
I also want to stick with the stock 14inch wheels!

Which way is best :- Lowered Beam or Drop Spindles?

I looked at all the options offered by the respective VW business' in Sydney and ended up at CBB in Penrith. Their dirve in drive out service was great, took them 1 day, wheel alignment and all done in house. Best thing was I could watch the whole thing done in front of me.

I went for the beam only as the drop spindle thing was too much hassel and I couldnt find an engineer that would pass a welded spindle. I wanted to keep everything legal.

It is best to do your home work as I nearly parted with a lot of hard earned cash before I checked out CBB and what they offered.

I recommend to give Mike or Ryan at Custom Bugs and Buses a call on 47229313.

Thats my 2 cents worth hope it helps you.

Got mine done by Indian Automotive in Kingswood, near Penrith. Did a great job lowering the beams. The ride's as good as it was stock. Very happy.

With your user name if you didn't use the Chief at Indian something is strange! plus they do a really good job based on the Indian lowere bus I drive (can't comment on others as no experience but happy with what I have)

Imagine what you would do if you knew you couldn't fail
