VWMA Fvee Race 2
I'm back in the Fvee seat for my second race this weekend at Morgan Park, Warwick for the MG Car Club's State Championship Race Meeting Rd3.
After enjoying the Lakeside round, I'm looking forward to learning another track and a bit more race craft. I'm officially hooked on open wheeler
racing.

Hi Dave,
Fvee is a 1600 and logbooked as a new model (Hughes Fvee / VWMA-01-09), as I bought the car as a project last year and there were no books. Disc
brakes all round, VW 4 speed transmission, control manifold, carb, and distributor (points). Both the engine and transmission must be built while
under the supervision of a CAMS approved sealer, as very little in the way of mods is allowed.
Total weight is approx 490 kgs with driver, so they are very light and hence surprisingly quick. At most tracks they lap very respectable times. For
example, at Lakeside the Vees were second fastest only to the sidecars.
