Hi guys.
You lot have already helped me out on a few questions so I thought it was time to say hello.
I live just south of Perth in WA and I have been into aircooled VWs for about 10 years. At the moment I'm running a 58 Beetle in really good
unrestored condition, with a new battery in she never misses a beat.
Adjusted the valve clearances the other day and now the exhaust sounds quite a bit louder and the engine sounds more like someone’s dropped the
cutlery draw, I think I'll have to recheck them to make sure they aren’t too wide (although some where solid before I adjusted them).
I'm gona keep the 58 pretty standard but would like to get a bit more power from it.
I also have a 72 Semi auto which I'm thinking about putting a WRX motor in because I have had it on the market and there have been no takers so I
might as well do something fun with it.
