pulling off heater boxers?


hey peeps
is there an easy way to pull off heater boxers (later style) on a type 3 engine while the engine is in the car or should i just pull the engine out and do it?

Remove the back engine tin ware at the top this will let yuo get to the top mainfild nuts easier.

ok i have to pull the engine as the rear main needs doing aswell as the pushrod tube rubbers (bloody cheap gasket kits :mad:)

whats happening with the fasty ? i finally got the laptop going and back on the forum after a month. desktop pc is still a problem.

hey uncle brian
the fasty is goin along steady all the rust is cut out and been replaced! me dad and gav shaped them all (sill section etc) and welded em in just doing some rust preventative stuff and the heater boxers are rusted out where it joins the extractors!
whats wrong with the PC?
