34PICT3 Bowl empties overnight.
In the mornings while checking oil level fan belt etc on my K/G, I've noticed fuel on top of the pump and the leak is from the throttle
(butterfly) shaft on the carb. It's not noticeable while it's running. & it's dry when I switch off. When I take the carb top cover
off, the fuel level has dropped to one third full overnight- the same height as the 2 small fuel suction ports on the wall.
As I understand the workings, it needs air flow to get the fuel to be taken up-i.e. the float chamber should not "leak" unless airflow thru
the venturi sucks it out. Has anyone "been here" before??

Is my face red?
Oh dear! The small washer under the main jet plug was dished & grooved & leaking slightly. Well at least this engine is genuinely not using
any oil- for a while there it looked like the oil level was being kept up by petrol leaking into the sump!
