padded dash


can anyone tell me if this dash is out of a 75/76 beetle?also what would it be worth,cheers kevin.

I think it may be out of a 74' (all the same !!) as the 76' has that little square, in the middle at the top, cut out for the two speed fan control, well mine does !!

Maybe the fan was an option ? anyway 74-76' not too sure what is worth !

You can still purchase from WCM new.

73-75 was an L bug. They had the padded dash but the other sort - that is a 76.

UNLESS the not common 74 "eco" 1300 model came with a padded dash

blue 74l,
the 74' has the same padded dash as the 76' (74' was swing axle and balljoint, 76' was IRS and Balljoint) also the 72' South africa imports also had them.(Swing axle and King/link)

Had them all !!!
