A few thoughts:
a) The alarm inside the car is a good deterrent, but I would need a clean pair of shorts if it went off accidentally, akin to the good old
air-horn-while-your-head-is-under-the-bonnet-trick! i.e. not worth it.
b) this should be a sacred topic, only discussed out in the open in rainstorms.
Don't tell everyone your tricks!!
You may become paranoid next time your precious gets broken into.
You never know who might be reading this!!
c) I had a 15" sub in the back of my L bug, behind the seat. Actually I still have the box if anyone is interested.
To say it pumped was a major understatement. On of my mates nicknamed the car "The finger of God"
2180 with 48's, 4000rpm in 4th off the clock etc. Aah Memories!
