No idea on how wide they are... ill measure my spares today some time...

195 seems to fill the guards nicely, i run 165/65 i think on mine... but given i have 3 sets of rims, im always open to trying other things!

I really want to go lower on mine, but need to change engine over and do a few other things first and decide from there... I think the folks are getting sick of the gouges out of the road and driveway at home allready!

Small update

Been doing a few things on the dub over my week off.

Dropped front end a spline (now 3 total)
Polished Paintwork / Bumpers / Wheels
Fixed Drivers Seat
Tidied up wires under dash
Fixed loose steering Wheel
Re-Aligned bumpers
Fixed Bonnet latch

So overall just a big tidy up.

After i cleaned her i took her for a drive and snapped a couple pictures:

Looking good man...

Really making me want to do my taillights now!

Seeing that shot of your rear tyre fitment makes me wonder if my new ones will fit.... could be interesting....

The old rollas make great cars, their simple and most are bullet proof.

Did you end up getting your 225's? I have a certain point at the rear that has only 1-2mm clearance! Any passengers and it scrapes around corners.

Ive been busy with alot of small things on the dub lately.

First off i got some new door trims from doc. They were red but i have dyed them black, I also made new backing plated as the originals were warped to hell.

Made a new parcel shelf (subs and stereo are gone)

Fixed broken speedo cable

Also threw in a picture of the height of the front end. I'm sorry sway bar but your going to die!

Heres a couple snaps from a show i entered tonight!

It was a hot rod, rat, custom, pre 1970 show down the main street of Tanunda, absolute hundreds of cars and around 4000 people!

I happened to be the ONLY VW at the slow!

Most people seemed to like it :)
