humpty goes back together again

This is where i am at with my 1970 1500 beetle. I bought her a few years ago and used her daily but wasn't happy with the condition of the interior or paint, so I stripped the paint and pulled the motor and then set about painting it in my garage.

I went for an ivory white as this is a classic dub colour and I have asked Bus n Bug to make me up some beige seats with choc piping, to match the choc carpet.

The car was trailered off on Thursday to Bus n Bug to have the interior fitted. After this it will visit the mechanic to be reconnected, before becoming my daily drive.

I hope to catch up with some of you in and around Melbourne.

I hope i can attach some images so please excuse this drivel if there are no images to look at, photobucket doesn't seem to want to upload them !

Cheers,

Scott
This is where I nearly gave up.
