where are these mirrors from? (largish pic inside)


I snapped this pic of this car at the nationals this year, and i'm interested in the side mirrors. Are these from another model VW? Or from another car? Where can I find them!!?!?!

These are after market hot rod mirrors, that were made for general cars.

There available from Rare Spares and similar places, VVDS usually has them available.

The door has to be modified by dimpling the frame in order to make the mirror fit in the correct position.

Mooneyes/Flat Four ones just need a hole tapped into the side and the drop mirrors can go on.

You will find a better range of drop mirrors from hot rod supply places than any VeeDub shop will carry.

You will even find ones that clamp (with tamper proof screws) to the drip rail...
