[WTB - WA] 1985 VW Caravelle GL Bus (Vanagon)
We have decided not to put in a Subaru or original engine into our 1985 Volkswagen Caravelle GL Bus 5 Sp Manual, 4 Cylinder, 1913 CC - not what we
thought we would do with our retirement.
We would rather it went to an enthusiast than just trade it in on a new vehicle, which we are not ready to go in for yet anyway.
Location is Collie in SW WA.
Blue, Tow bar, bull bar, roof racks. Seats intact.
The photos are from when we bought it, and we had the garage go over it mechanically and move spotlights etc.
Anyone want to fall in love with it like we did?

Re the Caravelle - I seem to have lost half the message.
I also tried to say that apart from the leak of coolant from corrosion in the cylinder head join, everything else is fine to the best of our
knowledge - no leakage of coolant into the oil or the combusion chamber.
The rear lights on the roof have been removed.

Thanks for pointing that out. I thought the letters meant something else.
There isn't a tag that says FTAGH, and while it would be nice to have a bunch of readies pressed into our reluctant fists, we are more keen for
somebody who knows what they are doing and who would do it up to a high standard to take ownership. Who knows at a glance the engine is terminal.
Who wants to fix it and use it.
If that's yourself, get that trailer lined up.
For us right now it would be good money after bad - $6,000 odd on the vehicle, and I think 2 on the work. We are past doing it ourselves, but it
would be a nice project for a good Vdubber. Cheap too. Free to a good home.
Who knows, you might even sell it back to us.
