Manifolds

Howdy
Dose anyone make dual port end casting to fit heads like wedgeports. That have a stock inlet end position( closet to the carbie end) for the purpose of fitting turbo set up to. Or do you just have to weld and grind stock ends

Cheers:smilegrin:

Nothing currently available, but I hear that CB performance has something in the works.

For now you may have to do the "weld and port" deal.

In the 80's there were some end castings called "trick-ends" sold through a store cales "Station One".
These werebuilt primarilly for the offroad guys ith a centre mounted two barrel carb,
but some of the pro-turbo guys found that they were just what they needed.

If you like to search, then perhaps try some of the offroad forums
or even Mr Bug in melbourne who were big into off road back then.
Not sure what they are called nowadays, or even if they are still in business?

Have you tried jcwhitney, partsbin, stylintrucks, or any other only parts store? I think it is a help if you try to check those sites, many good people can help you with your manifolds need. I got there my Dorman manifolds. Good luck!

Turboboy, have a chat with Kurt at Veedub repairs in Freo, or Bernie at Munster Garage, they both should be able to help out with welding and matchporting of manifolds.
