Heating Fan Fuse?

I dont think my heater fan works..well I cant hear or see it working when the lever is in the right position?
Any ideas? Does it have a fuse?
Remember I have no mechanical experience so keep it simple please
I get hot air but I dont think its fan pushed...I can defrost my windscreen but only very slowly
I have a 1977 Kombi

Hay Azz,
With everything on, and the heater lever in the correct pos. go out to the engine bay and look inside. The fan hangs from the top of the engine bay, you should be able to see if it's running or not.
If not, the fuse is in it's own little holder and will be in the bundle of wires coming out of the fan itself.
If that's not it, next I would check the wire to the switch at the end of the lever under the dash is still there and connected.
Let us know how you go!
